Richard J. Swanson is an experienced attorney and litigator in all areas, including arbitration, NLRB proceedings, and federal court litigation. He frequently represents unions and employees impacted by plant closings, sales, and relocations, including proceedings to enforce wage and benefit claims in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. Mr. Swanson has also represented workers in wage and hour cases, including cases for overtime and minimum wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Indiana Wage Payment Act, the Indiana Wage Claims Act, and the Indiana Wage Assignment Act. He also has years of experience representing injured workers before the Indiana Worker's Compensation Board and is an advocate for workers' compensation reform to improve benefits and procedures under the Indiana Workers Compensation Act.
